In 2021, "The University of Georgia" published a monograph of the president and professor of the same university, historian Manana Sanadze.

This article was devoted to the movement of the highlanders against the Russian authorities in the first half of the 20th century. After the end of the Caucasian War, a new order was established in the Caucasus. Most of the lands on the plain were given to Cossacks and Russian colonists. The Highlanders were forced into the mountains.

Work is dedicated to the bright memory of Ilia Khimshiashvili and to those Georgians who were always strong supporters of the motherland, selflessly tried to popularize Georgian culture abroad, and found peace in the cold soil of the foreign countries.

The essay presents a brief summary of the first monographic study of the history of the two old eparchies of the Georgian Orthodox Church - Urbnisi and Ruisi.
