The legends, customs, conceptions according to the Head of Khevi, (elder), also his social role and ideology, show that the base of this institution is in person‘s inner world. The person, distinguished with his characters could become the head of village and at this time the middleman between people and The Virgin. He was distinguished by “icon”. Exactly this distinction legalized his moral authority and converted into social role.

The paper deals with the issue of the first Christian Georgian King Mirian’s (4th c religious activities aimed at reforming of official cult of Georgian Kingdom. Three projects had been designed by him.
The first one was directed on systematization of the Georgian pagan pantheon. It was centered on “god of gods” Armaz. But, after the idol had been destructed in result of lightening the project had lost any sense.

In the present research is discussed L. Melikset-Beg‘s version about identity one of the Thirteen Assyrian Fathers - David Garejeli and Armenian philosopher - David Invincible (Anhagt).
In the article are critically reviewed all the pro-identity arguments point by point. After detail analyze of the problem, expediency of the identification of this different persons of the VI century is sharply rejected.

III century represents a very important period for Roman Empire and Sassanid Iran. We can call this period an epoch of religious reforms, since it is religious reforms that determined history of these two countries later on. In this work, based on the sources, religious situation existing in these two countries and policy of governors in their own countries, as well as towards religions dominating in the neighboring empires, are studied on the background of political situation in Sassanid Iran and Roman Empire in the III century.
