This paper is devoted to on the reconstruction of the political history of the Avarians and Interethnic Relations in the North Caucasus. Sarir arose on the basis of possessions Tsuketi eristavi. Christianization of Sarir can be based from Georgia and Turkic territories. The origin of the rulers Sarir from the Persians and the legend of the Sassanid throne are legend.

Dynamics of the coastal zone of Georgia in the second half of the Holocene

In the beginning of the Old Black Sea Phase (8500-9000 years ago), the Black Sea coastline was located 30-40 meters lower than the contemporary coastline. The 10100-10500 years old sediments of continental genesis have been recorded at a depth of 40-45 m on the underwater slope.
